Pingo Doce, besides offering excellent food products, introduced an initiative a few years ago to annually hold a contest for the creation of a children’s book, with entries for both writing and illustration.

In this story, we get to know a boy who experiences the passing of years alongside his grandfather and how these changes alter his perspective on the world around him. Here’s my visual interpretation.
